According to Vice President of Finance, Darien Smith, “This interactive field trip epitomizes one of our main objectives, learning through experience. The vast array of knowledge and information I soaked in during our time with Eric Heim is incomparable to a traditional classroom lecture.”
During lunch at the Italian Village, students got a chance to sit down and converse with Mr. Heim about credit default swap contracts, margin requirements, OTC valuations and also career opportunities in the derivatives market. Mr. Heim humbly shared stories of his recent triumphs in the business world and encouraged students to continue working hard in the classroom.
